Registration fees

In order to claim the student discount, applicants must present proof of full time enrolment at a degree-granting university or college for the academic year 2003-2004. A photocopy of a current student card or a letter from your departmental administration must be attached to your registration form.

The fee for registered participants includes:

• Attendance at the Official Opening Ceremony, Informal Reception, Welcome Reception, Closing Ceremony and Poster Sessions
• Delegate bag and meeting documents
• Badge
• Book of Abstracts
• A publication reviewing 'Limnology in Finland'
• Entry to the commercial exhibition
• Participation in a Mid-Congress Excursion on Wednesday
• Coffee and tea during breaks from Monday to Saturday

The fee for accompanying persons includes:

• Attendance at the Official Opening and Closing Ceremonies
• Attendance at the Informal Reception and Welcome Reception
• Participation in a Mid-Congress Excursion on Wednesday
• Badge and Delegate bag
• Information material

The fee for accompanying persons does not include attendance to the scientific sessions or any of the scientific material.

Lunch package

It is possible to purchase a lunch package, which includes lunches for 5 days from Monday 9th to Saturday 14th August 2004 (excluding Wednesday 11th). The possibility to order lunch on a daily basis is also offered. Lunch includes a warm main course, side salad and bread. Different diets can be catered for, but delegates must inform the organizers about special dietary requirements when registering. Lunch will be served in the SIL Tent, situated next to City Theatre within easy walking distance from all the congress venues. The lunches must be purchased before the congress and cannot be paid for on site.

Bus tickets

Delegates who are staying outside Lahti are requested to buy bus tickets in advance by selecting the bus ticket package when registering. Congress busses will drive back and forth to the congress site once a day.
