- Chaired by Dr Anne-Mari Ventelä (Pyhäjärvi Institute, Finland), leader of CARE
- Short plenaries by professor Erik Jeppesen (National Environmental Research Institute and The University of Aarhus, Denmark), Dr Gertrud Nürnberg (Freshwater Research, Canada) and Dr Richard Lathrop (University of Wisconsin-Madison, Center for Limnology, USA)
CARE-project (2004-2006) is funded by Academy of Finland. The objective of the project is to create a state of art synthesis of ecological, cultural, sociological factors affecting the recovery of a eutrophicated lake.
