Submission of Manuscripts

According to SIL policy, each registered participant is allowed to submit only one paper as senior author, but may be listed in two additional papers as a co-author. The text should be in good English, German or French. English is preferred and recommended.

To be eligible for publication in the Proceedings, a paper must have been presented at the congress by the author and be submitted in final form to the Editor prior to the Congress. It must be an original contribution to limnology that has not been or will not be submitted for publication elsewhere. Length is limited to 1,500 words of text or 4 printed Proceedings pages (including tables, figures and references). Invited papers (maximum 5,000 words or 16 printed pages) will be published in full. Longer papers attract a page charge of US$100.00 per page.
