Invitation to exhibit and advertise

You are warmly invited to exhibit and advertise at the 29th International Congress of Limnology (SIL) taking place in Lahti, Finland between 8-14 August 2004. The Congress covers the main topics in limnology and brings together top international fresh water scientists. Up to 1 500 delegates are expected to attend from all over the world.

Exhibition

The exhibition will take place at Lahti City Theatre. This venue serves as the primary location of the congress, where the registration office is situated and plenary lectures will be held. The exhibition space, which is located in the lobby area of the City Theatre, gives you ample opportunity to present your goods and services. An exhibition stand contains two wall elements, two spotlights, a single plug point and one table and chair. The space of the stand ranges from 6 to 8 m². The exhibition space will be available on first-come, first-serve basis. The exhibition fee includes the stand as well as a delegate bag and coffee during the breaks. The fee includes one delegate badge. Extra badges can be ordered from the Congress Secretariat (for 120 € each).

Delegate Bag Inserts

Companies are offered the opportunity to provide promotional literature to be inserted into the delegate bags. The bags include the final conference programme and delegate list and will be given to all conference participants upon registration in Lahti. The material can be up to A4 in size and can be a single-sided or double-sided document or brochure (approx. weight 100 grams). If possible, please send an indication of the sort of document you would like to include with your booking. The organizers reserve the right to reject the material offered.

Advertising Space

Your advertisement will appear in the conference programme. The programme will be given to all delegates upon registration in Lahti and it will most probably be published in B&W, B5 or B4 in size, the size of the advertisement being 1/1 page.
