Coming to the Congress

On this page you will find relevant information concerning your arrival to Finland and SIL 2004 Congress. We wish you warmly welcome!

Arrival at the Helsinki-Vantaa Airport
There will be a SIL 2004 info desk at the Helsinki-Vantaa Airport on the 7th and the 8th of August. Personnel will be on site during 9.00-20.00 hrs. The info desk will be situated between arrival terminals 2 and 3.

The direct bus connection to Lahti leaves from the Helsinki-Vantaa Airport at platform 1C. Further information can be found on this page under Transpotation.

Registration, Info and Scientific Office
The Registration, Information and Scientific Office are situated in Lahti City Theatre (address: Kirkkokatu 14, Lahti) and will be open as follows

On Saturday 7th August, a meeting point and info desk will be organised for delegates in the Summer Restaurant Bellmanni (address: Kauppakatu 9, Lahti). The info desk will be open during 14.00-20.00 hrs.

Presentations
Delegates with either oral or poster presentation are asked to read the instructions on the Presentations-page. PLEASE NOTE! Remember to send your Power Point presentation to the Congress Secretariat via the Internet.

Delegates have a possibility to access the Internet from the following places:
